Needle Felting

I recently took up needle felting, and I love it. Below are some of the pieces. All of them are mounted in a white frame with double mats but don’t photograph well that way, so they are shown without the frame.

I have always loved paper. I saw this stamped leaf paper a few years ago and although I had NO idea what I was going to do with it, I just had to have it. After painting it (this is a poor photo) I then decided to needle felt a few birds. This piece is 24×36″ and is mounted on a too large, see through frame as I wanted the paper edge to be evident.

Here you can see the frame – your wall will show through.

This is like number 5 or so of a series of blue footed bobbies. I am having so much fun with these – they make me smile. (and they are flying off the shelves!). 12×12″ needle felted on a pink background. Yellow silk partial outline. Framed with a white frame. Ready to hang.
